Okay, maybe not THE creepiest, but it's up there. At least the road leading to it has finally been paved, as voting at a white, southern Baptist church deep in the woods at the end of a dirt road was even sketchier.

I don't know what was up with these broken headstones leaning against this tree...there were oddly situated head stones all over the place...Halloween meets Election Day?

We began the day before the sun came up, and did the last shift of the day as well. The fence behind the McCain sign encircles a small, very old graveyard.

The Shrek Donkey was our mascot for the day...it was great watching all the little kids trying to drag their Republican parents over to our table so they could say hi to it.
It probably won't come as a surprise that this particular precinct went for McCain. The people working the McCain table were friendly enough, even if the dippy teenager who staffed the table at the end of the day was wearing a pink "Team Sarah" t-shirt with an anti-abortion bumper sticker plastered across her belly, complete with fetus picture...it looked like she may have been pregnant, but I'm not sure. So glad it's all over...
