Maturity in Higher Education

Now the real question is WHO would steal anything from this person, let alone style? Somebody get this poor person a thesaurus, a spell checker and some impulse control.

Here's another example of maturity in higher education. This is one of those "locked" building directories:


Aren't these display things supposed to be locked? And doesn't anyone check on them...even periodically? I took this picture in late September--Hillary had been out of the race for quite a while, so this message has been greeting visitors to one of the campus' main buildings for a while. Classy.

Election Season

As a bleeding-heart liberal living in a very red-county in a fairly red-state, I find election seasons particularly fascinating. You can learn so much about the people in your neighborhood. In 2004, the Bush supporters at this house got into the "flip-flop" message:
